Safeguarding

As a school we take the safety and wellbeing of all of our pupils very seriously. We expect that anyone who comes to work in our school, either paid or voluntary, will share in this commitment and follow our Safeguarding policy. Please note this policy also applies to any trades person who is undertaking work in our school.

The schools designated officer for child protection is Mrs Houghton.  Any concerns must be reported to her and in her absence to Mrs King or Mrs Hall.

The schools Safeguarding Governor is Cllr P Murphy.

Below you will find the school’s Safeguarding Policy, please read through this with your child.

Year 6 children felt that online safety and cyber bullying is a really important topic.  They designed bright colourful posters and leaflets which provide important messages to keep children safe online.  These have been displayed for all to see and can be found on the wall outside the Year 6 classroom.
